How has Game of Thrones become so successful?
TV fantasy show Game of Thrones broke the record for the number of Emmy鈥檚 for a fictional series at last night鈥檚 awards. The HBO drama now has 38 Emmy Awards, eclipsing the previous record held by U.S sitcom Frasier.
Digital Spy鈥檚 TV editor Morgan Jeffrey is a Game of Thrones super-fan and believes the show has been able to tap into the mainstream because it incorporates 鈥減ower, betrayal, drama and politics.鈥�
鈥淚t鈥檚 like House of Cards with dragons,鈥� he told 5 live Drive.
