Why your cat should be 'put on a leash'

A leading animal scientist says cats allowed to be left to roam the outdoors are a problem for biodiversity around the world. Peter Marra, Director of the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center in Washington DC, says cats are responsible for the extinction of dozens of species of birds, reptiles and mammals and they need to be better controlled. He details his concerns in the new book, 'Cat Wars, the Devastating consequences of a Cuddly Killer'.
