Research suggests Sat-navs and technology could be to blame for our poor geography knowledge. The Ordnance Survey say 4 in 10 would incorrectly point out London on a map, and of the 2,000 surveyed, the majority couldn鈥檛 locate Edinburgh either.

Ordnance Survey research and Ambassador Sean Conway told 5 live Drive he was 鈥渟hocked at the statistics.鈥�

鈥淚t鈥檚 all about the destination and nothing about the journey and that鈥檚 sad,鈥� he added.
