
SA shops salvaging 'expired' goods
Supermarkets across the world have often been accused of letting their out-of-date products go to waste, although many are taking steps to try and combat this problem.
In Denmark earlier this year, Europe's first "sell-by" supermarket opened, selling products that are past their sell-by dates but still perfectly edible.
Now there is something similar in South Africa.
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Taurai Maduna went along to Foodies grocery store in Cape Town and spoke to entrepreneur Dave Bester to find out more for Africa Business Report.
