12-year-old dart prodigy who beat women’s number one
A 12-year-old girl from Doncaster is proving herself to be the wunderkind of darts. Beau Greaves threw her first dart just two years ago playing against her brother, and has since claimed victory over teams at national and European competitions.
Beau, who’s dart playing nickname is ‘Beau and arrow’, recently beat the women’s world number one Trina Gulliver in a county match. She said: “She raised my hand up in the air and said ‘this is your future world champion’, which was nice of her to say.â€
Her brother informed their parents of Beau’s potential. She then went down to play in the local pub league with her Dad.
Her mother Tracy said: “You could see by their faces they thought ‘who’s she?’ – they didn’t think that when she was beating them though!â€
