The homeless hero who stopped a bomb
There were frightening scenes in New Jersey earlier this month when a pipe bomb went off on the route of a charity race. No one was hurt, fortunately, but that same day, a pressure cooker bomb went off in nearby Manhattan, injuring 29 people, and a second device was found in the same area, but didn't explode. The atmosphere was fraught. Back in New Jersey, in Elizabeth, a homeless man called Lee Parker was rifling through a bin when he found a suspicious package - and averted another disaster. He's now been hailed a hero. Lee has been telling Outlook's Harry Graham his story.
