Are TV debates a good thing during elections?
Following the televised debate between US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, there has been lots of discussion in the UK about whether that type of format works here.
Former Conservative Party Chairman Grant Shapps gives us an inside view of how the British prime minister's staff approached the television debates in 2015 and how they took advantage of the "disarray of the broadcasters" who were very late in agreeing a format.
