Fallon: 'We will not name and shame foreign workers'
The Defence Secretary, Michael Fallon, tells Pienaar's Politics that the government will not require firms to publish details of the numbers of foreign works they employ. In a briefing after ѿý Secretary Amber Rudd’s speech to the Tory Party Conference, the government said it would consult on whether to require businesses to, “set out the impact on the local labour force of their foreign recruitment and be clear about the proportion of their workforce which is international”. The suggestion was met with anger by business groups, opposition politicians and some in the Tory Party.
