El Paso taxi driver describes life on US/Mexico border
Jorge, known to his friends as George, has been a taxi driver in El Paso, Texas for the last 15 years. He says the US/Mexico border has 鈥渃hanged drastically鈥� in that time.
He told 5 live Drive鈥檚 Anna Foster people would 鈥渃limb the fence鈥� or 鈥渏ump out of manhole covers鈥� to get across the border.
鈥淭heir hands were all bloodied because they used to jump the chain-link fence.鈥�
On Donald Trump鈥檚 idea of building a giant wall between the two countries, Jorge believes it wouldn鈥檛 make much difference.
鈥淵ou could build a 100-foot wall and people are going to get by, they鈥檒l find a way.鈥�
