Pablo Escobar was one of the world鈥檚 most infamous drug traffickers. From his strong hold in Medellin, Colombia, Escobar rose from the poverty of the slums to feature on the Forbes magazine鈥檚 billionaires list. He was a folk hero in his hometown of Medellin and one of America鈥檚 most wanted men in the early 1990s. It is this world that has been brought to life in the Netflix TV drama series Narcos. We find out the deadly truth behind the numbers in the Netflix series and the realities of Colombia鈥檚 drug trade.
