'My mother passed away... Due to complications from diabetes'
Diabetes UK are warning that an epidemic of type 2 diabetes could bankrupt the NHS. Type 2 diabetes is up to six times more common in people of South East Asian descent than it is in people from a white background. Medical student Previn opens up about how diabetes killed his mother, and Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, star of the 蜜芽传媒 programme Doctor In The House, stresses the importance of doing all you can to prevent it.
