25 BA crew members fall ill mid-flight
British Airways passenger Steve Lowy has described the emergency situation aboard his diverted flight from San Francisco to London after 25 crew members fell ill. The Airbus A-380 was re-routed to Vancouver in western Canada a few hours after take-off.
He said the crew were “very calm” and that it “was all very British.”
“They said they didn’t really know, the crew are not well and there may be a technical fault with the plane,” he added.
Steve was returning to the UK on the flight after a business trip. All twenty five of the crew were later discharged from hospital.
