'Daniel Sturridge is Liverpool's Theo Walcott'
That's the view of one Liverpool fan, Andy, following two goals from Daniel Sturridge in the EFL Cup 4th round victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson described Sturridge as "the difference between the two sides" but Andy was not so convinced. He said: "Since Suarez [left the club] he has flattered to deceive, massively. He is like the Theo Walcott of Liverpool."
Andy was equally as scathing about Sturridge's ability for the national team, adding: "You can't build an England forward line around him, how many chances does he need? He is a classic England bottler of a centre forward."
