Engagement ring returned
A Salisbury woman who lost her engagement ring at the Great South Run on Sunday has had it returned to her after a Facebook appeal.
Jacinta Pearson's ring was spotted "half-buried in mud" by a woman who gave it to a coffee stand operator.
It was collected from the man's home after being recognised on social media.
The £2,500 diamond ring had belonged to Ms Pearson's mother, who died when her daughter was three years old.
Ms Pearson said she was "delighted" by its safe return, which "restored my faith in humanity".
