'Super-parenting improves children's autism'

Treating children with autism from the age of two can significantly reduce the severity of their symptoms and sustain the improvement over six years, according to new research.
A study published in the Lancet is the first to identify that early intervention has a long-term effect on the condition.
Victoria discussed the findings with Professor Jonathan Green from the University of Manchester, Sarah Lambert of the National Autistic Society, Carrie Grant, who has two daughters with autism, and Mel Hunter, who has a son aged five on the autism spectrum.
