Most fans 'comfortable' with gay players
A survey for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 5 live suggests that the overwhelming majority of football fans would feel comfortable if the clubs they support were to sign a gay player.
Less than 10 per cent said they would withdraw their support. Younger fans appeared more hostile than older people to the idea.
Victoria spoke about the findings to Lou Englefield, director of Pride Sports, James Wilson, captain of Village Manchester FC, and Neil Beasley, the author of a book about life as a gay fan and player.
