From Cowtown to Cool Town - Colorado and the US Election

It has long been considered a swing state: in 1992 Colorado went blue in support of the Democratic candidate Bill Clinton, but four years later it went red - in favour of Bob Dole. In 2000 & 2004 the state stayed red, in favour of George W Bush. Then in 2008 and 2012 it shifted back to the Democratic candidate - Barack Obama. But some experts say Colorado looks set to stop swinging - and stay blue, because of a profound demographic shift in the capital, Denver. Dan Damon joined Megan Verlee, a reporter for Colorado Public Radio, for a drive through the city
