The Gadget Show

A Redditch rapper has had the opportunity of a lifetime to invest in new equipment after appearing on Channel 5's The Gadget Show.
Ìý
Abel Gray, whose real name is Sam Ledoyen, approached the presenters with a budget of £500 to find new tech to enhance his performance.
Ìý
Abel mixes hip-hop with various eclectic influences to bring storytelling and melody together in new and interesting ways.
Ìý
In the end, Abel chose the Zoom Arq as the ideal instrument for both the studio and his live shows.

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

Ìý
The free event, which saw more than 200 performances across 30 venues in the city, raised £4,139 for Acorns Children's Hospice.
Ìý
The idea of bringing as many venues together, to host live music, began nine years ago in the hope of making the city known for more than just sauce.
Ìý
Since then, they've gone on to raise thousands of pounds for local charities and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester has been involved in the event since day one.
Tributes: Leonard Cohen

The poet and singer, Leonard Cohen, has died at the age of 82.
Ìý
He made his name as an author before moving into music; his latest album was released last month.
Ìý
His best known composition, Hallelujah, is one of the most recorded songs ever.
Ìý
In 2008, he was one of the headliners at the Big Chill Festival at Eastnor Castle, an event that attracted around 40,000 people to the foot of the Malvern Hills.
Ìý
Tonight, we hearÌýtributes from festival organiser Katrina Larkin.
