Is a politician out of touch for getting a pastry price wrong?
French presidential hopeful Jean-Francois Copé has been mocked for hugely underestimating the price of a pain au chocolat. Speaking to French radio, he said the pastry costs between 10 and 15 euro cents, whereas the actual cost is over one euro. Sophie Pedder, the Economist magazine's bureau chief in Paris, speaks to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Roger Hearing on whether this means Mr Copé is out of touch with the public.
