
Bouquet
A short docu-drama, set in a florist, broken into two parts, demonstrating how important Functional Skills English speaking, listening and communication, writing and reading skills are to professional relationships in the retail sector.
In part 1 a customer comes into a florist and asks for a special bouquet for her mother-in-law. The assistant is very helpful and advises on certain choices of flowers. The customer also fills in suggested wording for a gift card, which contains a spelling mistake.
In part 2, the customer returns to collect the flowers. The sales team have transferred the message to a gift card and corrected the spelling mistake.
