How the North Korean leader kidnapped a film director and actress
The late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il had South Korean film director Shin Sang-ok and his film-star wife Choi Eun-hee kidnapped and brought to his country to make movies and help improve its moribund film industry. A new film called The Lovers and the Despot tells their story. Barbara Demick is a Korea expert and journalist with the LA Times. But, first, a very rare recording of Kim himself from the film.
