The Ukrainian pilot who was imprisoned in Russia and sentenced to 22 years in jail has drawn a parallel between Vladimir Putin and Hitler. In an interview with ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Newsnight, Nadiya Savchenko said of Putin: "The civilized world cannot view positively a person who has an appetite to seize the whole world. This is illness... such people must be stopped, and as soon as possible." Savchenko, now an MP, was freed in May and pardoned by President Putin. She spoke to Kirsty Wark.
