鈥淟atina鈥� and ''Latino鈥� are both words used to describe people of Latin American origin. The problem, according to writer Jack Qu鈥檈mi, is they鈥檙e also both gendered. The word ''Latinx'' has no gender 鈥� and it鈥檚 an attempt to be inclusive of non-binary people, who identify as neither male nor female.
