A word without a gender: 'Latinx'
“Latina” and ''Latino” are both words used to describe people of Latin American origin. The problem, according to writer Jack Qu’emi, is they’re also both gendered. The word ''Latinx'' has no gender — and it’s an attempt to be inclusive of non-binary people, who identify as neither male nor female.
