The final opinion polls are in. What do they tell us about the likely outcome of the US Presidential election?

John Zogby, the veteran American pollster told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 4's PM programme that six per cent of the electorate are telling his organisation that they will vote for the "lesser of two evils". But they haven't worked out who that is yet.

He said that because polling "is not an exact science" there is always a possibility of an error.
