Trump is on the wrong side of history, says former Bill Clinton climate adviser
The impact of Donald Trump's election victory on efforts to combat global warming has been dominating the COP22 climate meeting in Morocco. The US president-elect has described climate change as a hoax. Paul Bledsoe is an energy consultant and former climate change adviser to Bill Clinton. He told Newshour there was no doubt Mr Trump would try to avoid implementing the Paris climate deal, but that his influence was limited by the business case for renewable sources of energy.
