The Autumn Statement on Wednesday is set to be "low key" according to Conservative MP Stephen Hammond - who is close to Chancellor Philip Hammond.
He told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Newsnight's political editor Nicholas Watt that the Chancellor will hold back until there is "greater clarity" on the progress of the economy following the Brexit vote - which he said would likely be at the time of the Budget.
