What are the rules on MPs using mobiles in the Commons?
Labour MPs have been defending their behaviour in the House of Commons after a photo showed 19 members on their mobiles while shadow chancellor John McDonnell delivered his response to the autumn statement.
One of them, Jon Ashworth, told 5 live he was tweeting about the lack of money for the NHS and social care in Phillip Hammond's statement.
The picture was also taken at a time when MPs may have wanted to follow the conclusion to the Jo Cox murder trial.
The deputy speaker of the house, Lindsay Hoyle, told 5 live Daily's Jim Taylor what the rules say about mobile use in the chamber.
