How we are all affected by the destruction of coral reef
New research suggests that two thirds of the reef's northern section has died, as a result of so-called "coral bleaching". Mary Hagedorn from the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology told Newshour's Tim Franks that it is not only the Great Barrier Reef that is affected, but that reefs worldwide are affected by rising sea temperatures.
