‘Clinical Chelsea punished Man City’ – Waddle
Former England winger Chris Waddle says Chelsea were ‘clinical’ in their 3-1 win at Manchester City, a game which saw Pep Guardiola’s side finish with nine men after Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were sent off.
City had gone in front through a Gary Cahill own goal, but second half strikes from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard sealed an eighth successive Premier League win for Chelsea.
“Chelsea have been clinical,” said Waddle.
“Where they had opportunities to punish Manchester City, they have.
“They’re well organised, they’re well drilled and they look fresh,” he added.
