Bournemouth showed ‘fighting spirit’ in Liverpool win – Hartson
Former Wales and Arsenal striker John Hartson says Bournemouth showed ‘great fighting spirit’ as they came back from 2-0 and 3-1 down to beat Liverpool 4-3.
Eddie Howe’s side scored three goals in the final 15 minutes, with Nathan Ake’s winner coming three minutes into added time.
“We could talk about Liverpool and if they’ve been sloppy in letting a 3-1 lead slip but I would rather give Bournemouth the credit, they showed great fighting spirit,” said Hartson.
“Bournemouth had never beaten Liverpool, what a day for the football club,” he added.
