A former Southampton youth player and ex-professional footballer who says he was abused by his former coach Bob Higgins for two years has told Victoria it led to a life of chaos, fuelled by drink and drugs.
Billy Seymour, who has served three prison sentences, says he struggled with anger issues and "went off the rails" as a result.
He says he was abused by Mr Higgins between the ages of 12 and 14.
Mr Higgins was charged with six counts of assault and acquitted in 1992 when the prosecution offered no evidence. He has previously denied all allegations.
The programme has been unable to reach Mr Higgins for comment.
