Boxing brain injuries: A partner's story
British boxer Jerome Wilson was left in a critical condition following a head injury sustained during a fight in 2014.
The Sheffield fighter was knocked down by Serge Ambomo in the second round, and the fight was stopped in the sixth.
His partner, Michelle Boyce, 17-year-old son and three-year-old daughter were at the fight.
Michelle remembers watching the fight "through one eye" whilst protecting their daughter.
"It got to the sixth round and I was thinking just get it over and done with," she told 5 live Sport.
"And then the next thing I just remember someone shouting he was down.
"[The doctors] said to us: 'If he makes to through the next 24 hours then we're doing well.'"
