The Christmas books market has been flooded this year with titles that poke fun at everything from Ladybird to I-Spy books. 2.7 million copies have been sold of the Ladybird books for adults in print across 20 titles since their first release a year ago. The Enid Blyton books were only published a month ago - they include Five on Brexit Island; Five Give Up the Booze; Five Go on a Strategy Away Day, and all three are currently in the top ten hardback bestseller list for non-fiction. Their author Bruno Vincent explains his modern take on Enid Blyton's The Famous Five series, and journalist Cathy Rentzenbrink discusses the phenomenon that is shaking up the bestseller lists this year.
