Hodgson: Southgate can call me any time
Former England manager Roy Hodgson hasn’t spoken to new coach Gareth Southgate since he got the England job but says he enjoyed a good relationship with him at the FA and endorses his appointment. Hodgson also revealed he’d be happy for Southgate to turn to him for advice anytime in the future. Hodgson was giving his first in-depth interview since losing his job after the European Championships and was speaking to Garry Richardson on Sportsweek
