The U3A - the University of the Third Age - reaches the landmark figure of 1000 groups across the UK. The U3A movement is an organisation that promotes learning later in life with many classes of all different subjects from Quantum Mechanics to knitting. The movement stemmed in the UK from an interview on the Radio 4 programme You & Yours 35 years ago. Winifred Robinson talks to the founder.
