Planet Earth II: Why we saved the turtles
The perilous journey of hawksbill turtles to reach the sea was the subject of a recent ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Planet Earth II documentary. Viewers were left unsure how many had survived.
But once the cameras were off the production crew took the unusual decision to intervene and rescue some of the struggling turtles which were heading the wrong way.
