Club's fan-sponsored shirt sells out in 35 minutes
Airdrieonians F.C. have sold out of replica shirts using an image of superfan Mark Allison, who died of pancreatic cancer earlier this year.
The club's supporters' trust became the first fans group in the world to be the main sponsor of their team's kit.
Willie Marshall, who is chairmain of the trust, said, "The club didn't have a main shirt sponsor for the home shirt, and the season was moving on. We kind of thought - would it not be a good idea if we offered to take over the sponsorship of it, and then dedicate it to the legacy that Mark left?"
