Lollipop lady banned from high-fiving school children
Parents have been left fuming after a lollipop lady was banned from high-fiving school children as they crossed the road, after complaints from drivers.
Shelia, who works outside St Illtyds primary school in Llantwit Major, was asked to stop as drivers complained her high-fiving was holding up the traffic.
Vicky Dixon’s five year-old grandson uses the crossing and she told 5 live Drive that he is “absolutely devastated.â€
“She’s always cheery, always giving them a good start and a good end to their day. She’s been there for 14 years doing it.â€
