Martinez: Stones has potential to be one of Europe's best
Former Everton boss Roberto Martinez says John Stones has the potential to be 鈥渙ne of the best centre-halves in Europe鈥�.
Martinez gave Stones his Premier League debut for the Toffees aged just 19 in 2013.
He went on to make 103 appearances under the Spaniard before signing for Manchester City in the summer.
鈥淗e鈥檚 got the potential, but he鈥檚 not ready yet,鈥� Martinez told 5 live Sport.
鈥淗e needs to learn certain aspects to make sure he doesn鈥檛 make mistakes in areas where you can鈥檛 get away with it in football.鈥�
