Show jumper Nick Skelton has joked Andy Murray鈥檚 wife Kim 鈥榙idn鈥檛 vote enough times鈥� after the Sports Personality winner revealed she had voted for Skelton.

The 58-year-old finished third behind Murray and Olympic triathlon champion Alistair Brownlee.

鈥淚鈥檓 very pleased with, although she didn鈥檛 vote enough times I don鈥檛 think,鈥� Skelton said.

As for Murray, he says his wife鈥檚 joke may impact on Christmas.

鈥淚鈥檓 hoping she was joking,鈥� he said.

鈥淚鈥檒l speak to her when I鈥檓 off air and find out.

鈥淚鈥檓 doing my Christmas shopping tonight so if she gives me the wrong answer she鈥檚 not getting anything,鈥� he added.
