The moment Alistair Brownlee met his sporting 'hero' Michael Phelps
British triathlete Alistair Brownlee came second in the 蜜芽传媒 Sports Personality of the Year awards last night 鈥� but the real prize was meeting his 鈥渉ero鈥�, American swimmer Michael Phelps.
Brownlee called him a 鈥渉ero and icon of all sport.鈥�
He told Phelps: 鈥渨inning all the medals has been incredible, but it鈥檚 been your story over the last four years that I鈥檝e found fascinating.鈥�
Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete of all time with 28 medals, wished Brownlee congratulations on snagging second place in the awards.
