Paul Dixon is so passionate about getting more people to sign up to the organ donor register, he has had his donor card tattooed to his arm.

Speaking to 5 live鈥檚 Adrian Goldberg, Paul said he hopes the tattoo will help more people 鈥渟top and talk鈥� to him as he volunteers in two Merseyside hospitals to promote the cause.

Since 2013, Paul has encouraged 6,000 people to join the register but says he still has a long way to go as 鈥渢here鈥檚 still about 41 million people not on it.

鈥淭he sad thing is three people on average die every day because not enough organs are available and I鈥檓 not happy with that鈥� If there were more people on the register, more transplants could take place.鈥�
