US scientists fear for future of climate data
Scientists in the US concerned about the future of climate change data are attempting to protect their findings from political interference by the incoming Trump administration by downloading and archiving US government data. Nick Santos, an Environmental researcher with the University of California, is involved in the project. Dan Damon asked him why he thinks it's necessary to save climate data.
