Amy Adams
Amy Adams has earned five Oscar nominations in just eight years - for films including Junebug, The Fighter and American Hustle. Her big break came alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can, and her diverse screen career since then has seen her playing a conwoman, a Disney princess and Superman’s girlfriend.
Now she stars in new sci-fi film Arrival, directed by Denis Villeneuve, playing a linguistics expert who is enlisted by the US Army to try to communicate with aliens after a fleet of spaceships arrive on earth.
