How Pluto was stripped of its status as a planet
Neil deGrasse Tyson is an American cosmologist and popular science communicator. He is also the director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York. Not long after he became director, the Planetarium sparked controversy by leaving Pluto out of an exhibition of our solar system's planets. He talks to Jim al-Khalili about the thinking behind the decision and the consequences it had.
