Devizes Union from Workhouse to Hospital
Wiltshire author Barbara Fuller is celebrating - after working for two years on her latest book - it's now been published.
The book looks at the history of the town through the eyes and lives of the people who ran the workhouse - and those who were unlucky enough to live in it.
Opened in 1836 and demolished about 20 years ago, the site is now home to the St James' doctors surgery - and shortly a new Wiltshire care home for elderly people.
Barbara spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wiltshire's Karen Gardner about her book - and two local scandals she discovered while researching it
