Ronda Rousey's comeback after a year away from UFC lasted just 48 seconds after Amanda Nunes stopped her in the first round in Las Vegas.

Mixed-martial arts journalist Philip O鈥機onnor said: 鈥淪omething seemed to be wrong the whole time, she didn鈥檛 want to do any of the media stuff and when she got into the octogan, from the off it didn鈥檛 go her way.鈥�

Philip described her as 鈥渋ndescribably huge鈥� in the sport, which is part of the reason former Women鈥檚 bantamweight champion earned $3 million for the fight.

It wasn鈥檛 to be Rousey鈥檚 night though, with Philip adding: 鈥淣unes took to her boxing and Ronda wasn鈥檛 prepared for it. Amazingly enough, she stood there going 鈥榟ow is this girl hitting me, and how does she keep hitting me?鈥欌��
