Phelan sacking is 'an absolute disgrace'
The sacking of Mike Phelan by Hull City is "an absolute disgrace", according to Luke, who is a fan of the club.
Phelan, 54, took over as caretaker manager following Steve Bruce's departure in the summer, becoming a permanent appointment in October.
And Luke believes the decision to remove him wasn't fair on the Hull fans or Phelan.
"I think it's an absolute disgrace. The arrogance from the owners to sack him when it's their own mess that the club has been in for several years now," Luke said speaking to 5 live Sport.
"It's not fair on the fans or Mike Phelan who has done a pretty good job to get any points at all after the state the club has been left in."
