'Revolting' creators defend 'Real Housewives of ISIS' sketch
Heydon Prowse who co-created sketch show 'Revolting' with Jolyon Rubinstein told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 5 live Afternoon Edition,
"We would have had to question whether we were up to scratch as satirists if we didn't tackle the Islamic State."
'The Real Housewives of ISIS', one of the sketches in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ show 'Revolting', satirized women who join the Islamic state jihadist group. It was criticised by some for being 'tasteless'.
Prowse told Nihal Arthanyake and Sarah Brett:
"It's one thing in a wide breadth of satire that we had to cover and I think it's really important it sparked the global debate that it did. "
