What your choice of supermarket says about you
With fierce competition between the supermarkets all eyes have turned to their Christmas performance this week. The discounters Aldi and Lidl say they have seen strong growth, but have not given detailed like-for-like numbers. Morrisons has had its best festive period for seven years, while Sainsbury's eeked out sales growth of 0.1%. Figures from Tesco and Waitrose are yet to come.
